The shutter mechanism of the MV & HV switchgear is an important component in the distribution switchgear for protecting personnel safety and ensuring the normal operation of equipment.
Safety protection: In the power distribution switchgear, when the circuit breaker and other equipment are in the test position or maintenance status, the shutter mechanism will isolate the charged bus or fixed contact from the outside to prevent people from accidentally touching the charged parts and avoid electric shock accidents.
When the circuit breaker trolley is pushed toward the working position, the movement of the trolley is transmitted to the driving assembly of the valve mechanism through the linkage device (such as connecting rod, chain, etc.), and the driving assembly drives the valve to open, so that the moving contact on the trolley can be smoothly connected with the busbar or static contact; when the circuit breaker trolley is withdrawn to the test position or maintenance position, the linkage device drives the driving assembly of the valve mechanism to move in the opposite direction, and the valve closes to isolate the live part from the outside.
